This was one of the many challenging designs that we have been faced with in designing a retail space. The challenge was to create a store in an area of 42 square metre in one of the popular malls in the city - Inorbit Mall, Hitech City. The store owned by Saral and Radhika Talwar was to be a high end dry fruits and candy store. We zeroed in on the concept of this store, designed the space and handed over the completed project in over two months' time.

 

The design of the entire place was made to look like an ancient warehouse in the Middle East that were used to stock dry fruits during the ancient times. The dry fruits and nuts were always stored in sacks made of jute. The end result of this project superbly captures the vintage look we had envisioned for this store.

 

This project also made Team AANDH win the Hafele Trends Excellence Award for Architecture and Design 2016.
